Carmel enjoys the peaceful charm of a 19th-century former convent close to the centre
of the lovely old town of Les Vans, ideal for exploring the Southern Ardèche.
Although less than 200 metres from the town centre and the market place, Le Carmel
and its grounds retain the serenity of its former purpose.
