Le Carmel enjoys the peaceful charm of a 19th-century former convent close to the centre of the lovely old town of Les Vans, ideal for exploring the Southern Ardèche.
Although less than 200 metres from the town centre and the market place, Le Carmel
and its grounds retain the serenity of its former purpose.
The hotel's special atmosphere, its outstanding cuisine and the beauty of its setting
make it an ideal choice for holidays and week-ends or as a setting for business
seminars and conferences. It is perfect too for cultural and sporting breaks or
family reunions and for friends to meet.
Relax over a delicious meal in our restaurant or enjoy a drink in the bar with its spacious
lounge and impressive fireplace. To keep the children (and adults) entertained
we have a games room with bar billiards and table football. In our extensive grounds
there is a swimming pool, shady terrace with dining area, play facilities for
children and a boules court.
